Ein grönländischer 14 jähriger Junge hatte vor rund 70 Jahren eine Traumvision:

„Es wird die Zeit kommen und ein Indianer reist nach Grönland. Er wird eine ganz besondere Gebetspfeife mitbringen und er wird viel in Bewegung bringen.“ 

Johannes hat 70 Jahre an dieser Traumvision festgehalten, hat sie nie vergessen. Und als über den Ruf der Geistigen Welt die Einladung zum Ältestentreffen nach Grönland kam, hat Tunka'shila-tok-a-tatenéka im Jahr 2017 die Reise auf die Insel des ewigen Eises angetreten. 

Bei der ersten Begegnung mit dem nunmehr über 80jährigen Johannes ist dieser in Tränen ausgebrochen: „Ich habe dich gesehen, mit genau dieser Gebetspfeife – und nun bist du nach so langer Zeit wirklich da!“. Das war für alle ein sehr bewegender Moment und nach einer ersten Umarmung waren die beiden die restliche Grönlandreise lang unzertrennlich.

Die Ältesten waren voller Sorge, da die Gletscher aufgehört haben, zu ihnen zu sprechen. Das Eis schmilzt unaufhörlich und es ist kein Ende abzusehen. Es wurde dann von den Ahnen-Ältesten eine Zeremonie einberufen. In dieser Zeremonie wurde die Insel Grönland wieder mit dem Festland verbunden. Während dieser Zeremonie zeigten sich klare Bilder. So war es einst: das Eis war so mächtig, dass man vom Festland (Nordamerika) mit dem Kanu auf die Insel gelangen konnte. Die Distanz wurde zunehmend größer und konnte irgendwann nicht mehr überwunden werden. Einzelne Personengruppen sind daher auf der Insel geblieben – die Ur-Ahnen der Grönländer. In der Zeremonie wurde diese Verbindung, die Verbindung zu den Ur-Wurzeln, erneuert. Kurz darauf hat der Gletscher sogar wieder gesprochen – gekalbt – und eine wunderbare hellblaue frische Eisfläche war zu sehen.  Als Dank und als Unterstützung für die Gletscherspirits wird seither regelmäßig abwechselnd im Stamm CanglesaTakata  eine Gebetszeremonie gemacht.

 An elder from Greenland had a vision in a dream as a 14 year old, 70 years ago:

"A time will come, when a Native American travels to Greenland. He will come with a very special prayer-pipe and  things will change." 

Johannes held on to this dream vison. He never forgot about it. Through a call by the spiritual world, Tunka'shila-tok-a-tatenéka followed the invitation to the gathering of elders in Greenland in 2017.

The moment Tunka'shila-tok-a-tatenéka and the over 80 year old Johannes met for the first time, Johannes bursted into tears. He said: "I saw you with exactly this prayer pipe. Now after such a long time, you are finally here!"

It was a very moving moment for everyone. After the first hug, they were inseparable during the rest of the time.

The elders were concerned, because the glaciers had stopped talking to them. The ice is melting continuously and there is no end to it. The ancestor-elders called for a ceremony. In this ceremony the island Greenland was connected again to the mainland. During the ceremony clear pictures were shown. That´s how it was a long time ago: The ice was so big that is was possible to go by canoe from the mainland (North America) to the island. The distance was getting bigger over the years. At some point the distance was too far, it was not possible anymore to reach the island by canoe. A few groups of people stayed on the island - the ancestral ancestors of the people of Greenland. In the ceremony this connection to the ancestral roots was renewed. Shortly after, the glacier started talking again – it calved – and a wonderful light-blue new ice surface could be seen. In grateful return and for support since then, a prayer ceremony for the glacier spirits is regularly being held in the tribe of Canglesa Takata.

Hace unos 70 años, un anciano groenlandés tuvo una visión de ensueño cuando era un niño de 14 años:

"Llegará el momento y un indio viajará a Groenlandia. Él traerá una pipa de oración muy especial con él y pondrá muchas cosas en movimiento."

Johannes se aferró a esta visión de ensueño durante 70 años, nunca la he olvidado. Y cuando la llamada de participar al Encuentro de Ancianos en Groenlandia llegó del Mundo Espiritual, Tunka'shila-tok-a-tatenèka se embarcó en el viaje a la isla de hielo en el verano 2017. En su primer encuentro con Johannes, que mientras tanto ya tiene más de 80 años, se puso a llorar: "Te vi exactamente con esta pipa de la oración - y ahora, después de tanto tiempo, ¡estás realmente allí! Fue un momento muy emocionante para todos y después de un primer abrazo, los dos fueron inseparables para el resto del tiempo en Groenlandia.

Los ancianos estaban preocupados porque los glaciares dejaron de hablarles. El hielo se derrite incesantemente y no hay un final a la vista. Una ceremonia fue convocada por los ancianos del mundo ancestral. En esta ceremonia se reconectó la isla de Groenlandia con el continente. Durante esta ceremonia se mostraron imágenes claras. Este fue el caso: el hielo era tan poderoso que se podía llegar a la isla en canoa desde el continente (Norteamérica). La distancia se hizo cada vez mayor y no se pudo superar más. Grupos individuales de personas permanecieron en la isla, los antepasados de los groenlandeses. En la ceremonia se renovó esta conexión, la conexión con las raíces originarias.

Poco después el glaciar volvió a hablar – se cria - y se pudo ver una maravillosa superficie de hielo azul claro y fresco. Como agradecimiento y apoyo a los espíritus de los glaciares, el tribu Canglesa-Takata ha celebrado una ceremonia de oración todos los días desde entonces.

La bisabuela de Tunka'shila-tok-a-tatenéka y la abuela del tribu de los hurones habían dicho que sus antepasados habían ido en barco a Groenlandia y habían visitado a sus hermanos y hermanas allí. En ese momento el hielo de Canadá y el hielo de Groenlandia estaban a una sola distancia en kayak. Al igual que entonces, se ha formado un puente entre Groenlandia y Canadá a nivel ancestral.

Mucho ha comenzado a moverse en Groenlandia y la convocatoria de una reunión de los ancianos y la posibilidad de un intercambio común se ha llevado de vuelta a Europa. "La Madre Tierra necesita ayuda" - esta es la misión común que se lleva a los ancianos de los diferentes pueblos y que condujo a la primera reunión de ancianos convocada por la tribu Canglesa-Takata en 2018, que continuará en 2019.
